On Monday 4th September, Jessica visited Dorset Mind's HQ to meet with Head of Partnerships & Reach Dee Swinton and Legacy and Bids Officer Marie Glen.
During the meeting Dee and Marie spoke to Jessica about their important work across the county - and in particular their programmes to support adults and young people experiencing mental health difficulties and their partnerships with BCP Council and local NHS Trusts.
Jessica looks forward to working with them, in particular to raise awareness about young people and access to mental health support. This is something Jessica has raised recently in response to concerns about growing knife crime in the area.
